Tisanes A tisane (ti-zän) is a hot drink that most people would call an herbal tea (see Wikipedia's definition); our tisanes do not contain any tea leaves. We prefer robust flavored teas which are made by using the amounts shown on the packaging, but many of our friends prefer a more delicate flavor which can be made by reducing the amount of tisane used by half (or doubling the amount of water used). During steeping we recommend using a covered container (a saucer over a measuring cup will also work) to prevent loosing essential oils (flavor) into the air. All of our tisanes are "loose leaf", so you will need a loose-leaf tea pot, French tea/coffee press, or a sieve to separate the solids from your drink.
ENJOY!

Salves Salves are a traditional way to obtain the benefits of herbs, in fact they are a wonderful way of delivering herbs and simultaneously softening skin. These salves are not the hard versions that you may have seen before, but soften quickly to release their herbal powers. Our salves are prepared in a multi-step process that first extracts the herbal components into high grade vegetable oils and then combines the oil with just enough all-natural bees wax and essential oils.

Bath Salts Treat yourself to the pampered luxury of a warm soak. The use of mineral baths and soaks is a health practice steeped in tradition. Our bath and foot soaks are based on natural salts, herbs and essential oils to indulge all your senses, ease aches, and wash away tension.

Essential Oils Essential oils are not flavored oils, scented oils, or fragrance oils. They are extremely concentrated essential oils distilled from plants. When using essential oils think in terms of a drop or two. Care and precautions must be taken when working with these oils. General precautions include: - Keep all essential oils out of the reach of children - Pregnant women should consult a physician before use - Avoid all contact with eyes - Some people may be allergic to essential oils - Ask your healthcare provider if you have any questions about using essential oils
